My name is Dakota Graves. I’m 20 years old and a sophomore at Northern Kentucky University. I’m an Electronic Media and Broadcasting Major and am either switching to or double majoring with Media Informatics. I’m a cancer survivor, I’m a multimedia artist and most importantly I’m a Nerd. I write (blogs and amateur journalism), I host Internet radio and podcast (A Nerd’s Guide To The UniverseS) and I create (short films and independent media). I love comic books (I spend about $45-$60 a month on them), film, gadgetry/technology and the Geek/Dork/Nerd subculture. I prefer DC to Marvel, Star Trek to all other Sci-fi and Apple reigns supreme when it comes to my digital lifestyle but honestly its like picking between candy- how can you not love it all? Want to know when the last times I openly wept were? When Superboy died and then again when he came back to life. That was a joke (maybe). I am currently undergoing my second chemotherapy regimen for testicular cancer. This is my blog and the hub for all my online endeavors, enjoy!
